EDI Viewer/Claim Insight Changes - Release 03/2025
Adjustment Amount Analytics
We’ve improved our analytics for 835 adjustments (CARC codes). We’ve added the “Adjustment Amount” column on the payments screen. A new “Adjustment Amount” filter allows you to filter payments based on the adjustment amount threshold:

The adjustment amount is the total of all adjustments at a claim and a service line level.
You can also view your adjustments using the 835 analytics screens. All screens now have the “Total Adjustment Amount” column.
For example, if you want to find out the total adjustment amount for a given payer, navigate to the “835 Analytics/Payers” screen and select the “Adjustment Amount” from the “Find top items by” drop-down on the right:

The “835 Analytics/Adjustments” screen lets you view all adjustment codes based on the total adjustment amount. Select the code of interest and click on the “View Payments” button to see individual payments with this adjustment code:

Alternatively, you can use the “Adj. Reason Code” filter. The drop-down list for that filter contains the top 100 adjustment codes ordered by the adjustment amount.
EDI Files Screen Changes
You can now paginate through the list of files and select up to 50 files at a time using the “Select All” checkbox:

Remember that you can use the search bar to select a subset of files. You can search by a file name fragment or the file name (enclose the file name in parentheses).
Other Changes
We’ve added rendering of several new fields (assignment participation code, benefits assignment indicator, etc.) from the CLM
segment on the claim details screen:

We’ve added the revenue code filter for the 835 payments screen:

We’ve also added the “Top Revenue Codes” screen under 835 analytics. To use it, navigate to 835 Analytics, “Top Codes,” and select “Revenue Code” from the drop-down.
We now populate the payer’s identifier using the payer EIN value from the TRN segment of 835. Previously, the payer identifier remained blank unless the secondary plan identifier was listed on 835.
We changed how we populate the service dates column on the payment list screen. If an 835 had no service lines, we show the statement dates.
The selected filters bar is now scrollable so that it can accommodate a large number of filters.

When you go to the “Service Lines” tab, all service line sections are collapsed by default, so you can quickly see the summary of all lines. Use the “Expand All” button or click on individual lines to view details.
