EDI Converter 2.15.1 Release: EDI Generation, Validation, Python SDK, and More

We’re pleased to announce version 2.15.1 of our EDI Converter.

This is a major release that adds EDI generation for 835, 837P, and 837I transactions, production-ready EDI validation, a new Python SDK, updated Java parsing and generation APIs, optional control-segment and transaction-level JSON objects, expanded model support, Homebrew installation for macOS, and updated dependencies with zero reported CVEs.

EDI Converter 2.15.0-beta Release: EDI Validation API with SNIP Level Support

We’re pleased to announce the 2.15.0-beta release of our EDI Converter.

This beta release introduces EDI validation for X12 healthcare transactions. You can now validate EDI files against supported SNIP levels, receive structured validation issue objects in JSON, and view validation issues directly next to the original EDI segments.

EDI Converter 2.14.8 Release: Complete 834 Field Coverage and Improved CLI

We’re pleased to announce version 2.14.8 of our EDI Converter.

This release adds the remaining fields for 834 (benefits and enrollment) transactions, bringing our 834 JSON/object model to 100% coverage of 834 EDI fields in the JSON output.

The release also introduces an improved OpenAPI schema with custom “x-edi” properties to make it easier to track changes between releases.

Finally, we’ve updated the CLI tool to support multiple input files and glob patterns.

EDI Converter 2.14.7 Release: CRC/CR1/CR2/CR3 Segments

We’re pleased to announce version 2.14.7 of our EDI Converter.

New JSON Objects and Fields

“ConditionsIndicator” Object (CRC Segments in 837P and 837I)

All CRC segments are parsed into an array of “ConditionsIndicator” objects with the appropriate category code.

Professional claims can have these objects at the claim and line level. Institutional claims can have them only at the claim level (EPSDT referral).

Each dataset is fully isolated, with its own files, dashboards, and analytics. You can switch between datasets anytime from your profile menu (the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner of the app).
